I can think of few things as rewarding and as frustrating as raising a child. I should know….I’m a mom. Our culture doesn’t make it easy. Today’s kids have smart phones, tablets, laptops, Snapchat and Instagram. It’s far more difficult for parents to know what’s going on with their kids and to know how best to guide them through today’s challenges.
I will try to help you identify whether your relationship with your child is fear or love based. I can teach you how to say it once, and mean it! I can help you identify the message you are sending…which is oftentimes not the message you intend to send! I can help you pinpoint the “teachable moment” and give you pointers on how to extinguish unwanted behaviors while encouraging wanted ones.
They say it takes a village to raise a child. I think it doesn’t hurt to have a good therapist too!
