I have been told by more than one person that it is more difficult to go through a divorce than it is to deal with the death of a spouse. A divorce or separation can leave you feeling rejected, confused, guilty, angry, sad and depressed. Do your friends and family think you should just “get over it” and “move on?” I am here to help you deal with the turmoil and work through the hurt, anger and confusion.
You may find that you don’t want to talk to your friends and family about your divorce/separation or you may feel that they are tired of hearing about it. It can also add to the hurt and confusion when friends and family take sides and try to assist by giving advice. It helps to have an impartial, third-party professional such as myself to help you work through this confusing time and help you adjust to a new normal.
